About Lisa Severing
Lisa Severing is a trained sociologist and finance professional. She is also a co-founder of Munich International Women. She is a Fulbright and PROMOS alumni and is currently writing her Master’s thesis. She has studied, done research,h and worked in Germany, the US as well as Asia.
In terms of research, her primary focus lies on the sociology of money, behavioural economics, and gendered finances. Currently, she is looking into the topic of the gender financial literacy gap and why it is not enough to just skip on the coffee to get wealthy as a woman.
Yet, Lisa isn’t just about numbers and balance sheets. She’s a dedicated pet parent, finding unexpected love with a bunny and welcoming a new furry friend named Rudy into her life. Her interests span far and wide, from the depths of research to the creative realms of interior design.
